Athletes C.A.R.E. uses unique, service-related programs and events to support communities in need. Our athletes partner with community leaders to provide aid and assistance to men, women, and children in need. Take a look at our programs below. Can we help your community?

Fundraising Campaigns

We've partnered with WeDidIt and DonorUP to run annual crowdfunding campaigns which benefit area homeless shelters and programs. In 6 years, our campaigns have raised over $24,000 for communities and individuals in need.

4Hunger Clinics

Our 4Hunger clinics for Football, Soccer, Field Hockey, and Track have one premise: FREE FUN! Children who participate pay nothing to learn from college athletes. All we ask is that they bring canned food donations. These donations are delivered to area food pantries!

Athletes 4 S.E.R.V.I.C.E.

Athletes 4 S.E.R.V.I.C.E is a program where each sports team visits Safe Harbor in Easton and make 60 brown bag lunches. Athletes CARE members organize their own teams to participate. Each year, EVERY sports team at Lafayette College participates!

H.U.D.D.L.E. Program

H.U.D.D.L.E. stands for "Helping Us Develop Dedication, Leadership, and Enthusiasm for Community Service." This program works with area school districts to mentor students on various topics, teaching them to be leaders in their communities!

P.A.W.S. Program

P.A.W.S. stands for "Pairing Athletes with Students." This program is a pen pal program between college student-athletes and area children. Children are provided a mentor, who are able to act as role models and friends to the program's children!

Homework Clubs & Volunteering

In addition to our many “programs”, our Athletes volunteer their time at local elementary & middle schools as well as the Boys and Girls Clubs. Our volunteers assist with homework, play games, and provide positive mentors to young people! Contact us today if we can be of assistance at your school!
